Privacy Policy — Tiny Colony
Overview. Tiny Colony: Garden Kingdoms is a single-player puzzle game about routing tiny workers around a garden. It has no accounts, no sign-in and no servers of its own. Your progress is stored on your device and is never uploaded. The game is free to play and supported by ads, with an optional one-time purchase that removes them.
What the game stores
Your expedition stars and chapter progress, pollen and petals, nursery and pantry upgrades, unlocked colour palettes, completed daily challenge dates, and your sound and reduced-motion settings. All of it is kept in the app's own local storage on your device. Tiny Colony does not upload it, and we cannot see it.
There is no account to create and nothing to sign in to. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data, removes everything the game has stored.
Advertising
Tiny Colony shows ads supplied by Google AdMob. Ads appear on the menu screens and between expeditions — never during one. To serve and measure those ads, Google receives information from your device, which may include your advertising ID, IP address, device and operating system details, coarse location derived from your IP address, and how you interact with an ad. This information is handled by Google, not by us; see Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites or apps that use their services.
On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID, and opt out of personalised advertising, in your device settings under Settings › Privacy › Ads. On iOS the game asks for permission to track when it first prepares an ad (App Tracking Transparency); if you decline, the advertising identifier (IDFA) is not shared and ads are still shown, just not personalised. You can change this later under Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
Purchases
Removing ads is a one-time purchase made through Google Play Billing on Android or the Apple App Store on iOS. The purchase is processed by Google or Apple, and its status is validated through our billing provider, RevenueCat, so the app knows the purchase is active. This involves purchase and receipt records and an anonymous identifier RevenueCat assigns to the installation.
We never see or receive your payment details. The app does not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal detail.
The daily garden
The daily challenge is generated from the date on your own device. It is not sent anywhere, there is no leaderboard and no server checks it — it works exactly the same offline.
Permissions
- Internet and network state — to load ads and check purchase status.
- Advertising ID (Android) / Tracking permission (iOS) — used by the AdMob SDK to deliver and measure ads, as described above.
- Billing — to make the Remove Ads purchase through Google Play or the App Store.
The game does not request location, camera, microphone, contacts, or storage permissions.
Playing offline
The whole campaign and the daily garden work without a network connection, artwork and sound included. Ads and purchases need one; if the device is offline, Tiny Colony simply carries on without them, and a Remove Ads purchase you have already made stays active.
Children
Tiny Colony is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Your choices
Clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app removes everything the game has stored on your device, including all campaign progress. A Remove Ads purchase is tied to your Google account or Apple ID and can be restored from the game's settings after reinstalling.
Changes
If this policy changes, the Last updated date above changes with it.
